Description
Jordan Brand is celebrating the 20th Anniversary of Michael Jordan’s “Last Shot” as a member of the Chicago Bulls in 2018. Unlike the fusion-style Jordan 1 Mid ’99 from 2014, this pair simply inherits the “Last Shot” 14’s black and red colorway, with Ferrari-inspired yellow Wings branding along the collar. The retro sits atop a red rubber outsole.
Much of Michael Jordan’s legacy will be remembered through iconic still images that help tell the story of his illustrious career. From the shot of him soaring from the free throw line in the Air Jordan 3 “White/Cement” during the ’87 Dunk Contest to famous fist pump image after he hit “The Shot” over Craig Ehlo in a pair of “Bred” 4s, he is arguably the most photogenic superstar in sports. Perhaps one of the most iconic pieces of imagery from MJ’s storied NBA legacy is the sight of him hitting the “Last Shot” against the Utah Jazz in Game 6 of the 1998 NBA Finals in the Air Jordan 14.
