Description
Swooshes are paired up with a half-circle gold plate to represent players not being able to rock gold jewelry during play. NBA insignias atop the throat are flipped upside down and are symbolic of when hoopers would rocking their headbands so that the logos appear in this fashion. Moreover the tape-shaped panel on the heels point to kinesio tape that players like Derrick Rose would wear on his neck for stability, and the lateral heel overlay is emblematic of shooting sleeves (both of these items are currently un-banned in today’s game). Color-wise, they are minimally-hued as its leather upper is comprised of an angelic exterior paired with stark black straps.
