Nike’s recent experiment with tartan prints on some of their most iconic models continues, as after the Air Max 1 received a special makeover courtesy of the patterned fabric, the Air Force 1 Low is the next classic silhouette in line for the unique treatment. This Nike Air Force 1 Low features a clean White leather upper highlighted with the Tartan print arrives on the trimming of the shoe. An all-White AF1 rubber sole completes the design. The Nike Air Force 1 was the first basketball shoe that featured Air technology for cushioning. Designer Bruce Kilgore designed a circular outsole pattern to facilitate the pivot move. The Air Force, named after the plane that carries the President of the United States, was a true icon during the 80s, becoming the first sneaker to be re-issued in 1986.
